Another patient from Facing Chemo who we lost shortly after this image was made. An Olympic trials contender in swimming, she was so warm on set. She told me how her child had scribbled over her arm's tattoo with Sharpie. She immediately took it to her tattoo artist, saying 'make this permanent â exactly as it is.' Her children, she said, 'made her heart sing.'
