I first met Nick while photographing him at his home in rural Louisiana for a pharma. A rare disease patient with Morquio syndrome, Nick's story was so inspiring that I told him I wanted to keep coming back and photographing him over and over. I think I've made 5 trips out there so far and have been able to see his son grow up.
